Breed????

This is my "mystery chick" from my order from Murray McMurray. She is almost 11 weeks old. she does not have tuffs around her ears like the arucanas and is more buff than the leghorns... i do not know what to think.!

She is likely an Easter Egger as are all the "Araucanas" you purchased from Murray McMurray. True Araucanas have no tails and lay blue eggs. Hatcheries cross them or Ameraucanas with other breeds to produce Easter Eggers which lay better and different colored eggs, but often still market them as Araucanas. Easter Eggers usually have ear tufts but not always. I have ordered these Easter Eggers from Murray McMurray myself. My children loved and now my granddaughter loves the colored eggs.

Easter egger. We're seeing an increasing number of clean faced EE pullets the last year or so....or maybe more folks are posting them.
