picked up 8 chicks from tsc, supposed to all be pullets. the problem is they also had Cornish rocks. wanted to stay away from them as I'm only interested in eggs and the chickens themselves not meat, these chicks are growing at three times the rate my Rhode island reds and new Hampshire reds are. was wondering if maybe two Cornish rocks jumped into this tub and got mixed? anyone know what breed this is?

Yeah it does look like some cornish Cross birds. They reach butcher weight at 7 weeks so they grow fast.

okay, that's sad. I got them for pets. the lady said they were probably Leghorns or white jersey giants. I was hoping they were one of them
