I am looking for breeders of purebred Rhode Island Reds and Barred Plymouth Rocks, not the mix breeds everyone sells on craigslist and everywhere else. I would love to have a rooster and three hens of each breed. I am from Randleman, NC.

Lots of breeders of these breeds there. They will be glad to suggest a high quality SOP strain and help you get birds from it. That is the purpose of that thread founded by our later beloved mentor Bob Blosl. I look forward to seeing you there. Just jump right in, HLF is a very friendly thread, regardless of how long one has been on BYC.
