Hi there, my name is Laura. I've got 6 muscovies at present and my blue girl has decided to sit. Only problem, I'm stuck as to whether or not I should incubate her eggs. I've read up on this sooooo many times and am still up in the air on what I should do - I hatched babies from my blue girls brother last year - unrelated mum. I have since kept a boy from that hatch as he had the best temperament. So, I guess she's his 'auntie'. I'm pretty sure it's considered line breeding and it's ok but I'm still not convinced? Any one have experience doing this? I've got 4 fertile eggs I need to decide whether or not to keep warm today.

They will be fine. Inbreeding isn't as big of a deal in poultry.
