Hi everyone! I want to start incubating my Serama eggs but they’ve been free ranging with 5 different roosters. I have my Seramas penned off as of today. How long should I wait before collecting eggs for true Serama chicks? Just wondering how long “other” roosters stay inside to fertilize eggs. Thanks in advance. Also if there’s another thread that answers this point me in that direction. I looked but none of my searches came back with the info I wanted.

After one week, MOST eggs should be fertilized by the Serama rooster.
Three weeks is commonly recommended if you want to be sure of the father.
