I have a pair of IB and a pair of purple and a BS MALE and 4 IB HENS and i was wondering what would i get if i put a IB hen with the BS? Thanks
I'm definitely not a pea geneticist, but: If your hen is 100% IB, then IB hen + BS male = IB chicks only. Both of the parents have to be at least split to BS to get BS chicks.
Also, all of the chicks from them will be split to B S . I assume the black shoulders are blues . George
I would put a couple or three of the IB hens in with the purple pair and produce some extra purple hens and split to purple males.
