Hi all
Firstly let me please thank everyone on here for their patience and support with all my chick questions. Here I have two chickens (pullets???) About 12wks old. I was told one was RIR and one was Wheaten Moran. Any idea which is which? Also, confirmation of gender would be cool.
Both very friendly and will fly on to your shoulder when you're sat in the run.

I can't guarantee the second is a wheaten Marans. It looks quite dark for that.
Maybe some sex-linked breed.

The Sussex has had some feathering problems. She's been nurtured back to almost full feather, except her crop - which keeps getting pecked. I've tried purple spray (when it was red) and now I've moved on to anti peck spray. Hopefully you can see my progress here, but there's still some way to go. She's been hard work!

Not had any bullying issues in my flock - yet. Well, other than the normal stuff.

A good job, thanks, but not yet a job well done! Any more tips? I really don't want to separate them.

If you can't separate them - not really.

Put some boards up against the sides of the run so they have somewhere to hide and somewhere to get out of each others sights.
Dangle a head of lettuce or something in the run so they have something to divert their attention. Anything that will take their attention away from the Sussex.
