Bright red crop!

I’ve noticed one of my hens has a bright red crop! Should I be worried? The skin is slightly blotchy. It is still emptying perfectly each morning, and in its empty state it is still bright red.
She has also been blind her entire life - I say this because she is capable of eating suspicious things. She also often gets too enthusiastic when drinking water and will dunk half her head, so her neck is constantly dripping wet and the skin of her neck and crop is naked as a result. I’ve noticed red streaks on her crop in recent weeks but put it down to a rash from being constantly wet, but now it is her entire crop and I’m a bit concerned.
She is an isa brown, 2 years old. Behaviour is regular, healthy appetite, still laying. Has always been slightly underweight.
Thank you all for your ideas!

I should also mention that dry fowl pox has just finished moving through my flock, with little incident. The chicken in question was hardly affected, and just had three scabs on her comb which disappeared 2 weeks ago.
