I hope this is the correct place to post this question. In a few weeks I will be bringing home adult (1yr old ) chickens. I know that your are suppost to help chicks with stress by putting vitamins, sugar and other additives in their feed and water but how about adult birds?? How do I help them get over the stress/change of travel and a new house/place.. Thanks Dixie

Dixiedoodle, my first chickens were a year old when I got them. I just made sure their coop was clean and ready for them and fed them treats like fresh grass clippings, corn, etc. At that age they're pretty capable of taking care of themselves. Just make sure they have food, water and a place to run and they should be happy![IMG]
