Getting ready for lockdown tonight, first hatch in our new brine 190.
We have 57 bantam eggs, so the incubator rack is just about full. I have eggs marked by breeding pens, 6 groups total. The eggs are upright in the rack and lay down in the hatcher. I'm figuring out how to put the divides in and its going to be really full.

How much room do chicks need to hatch out? I thought the eggs needed space between the other eggs for hatching. I guess the hatcheries must cram eggs into hatching racks.
Will they be ok.

I'm going to be good and I will not open the incubator door after tonight and I will chicks in hAtching tray for 24 hours!

No help guys?
I just put the divides in for the 6 groups of eggs. How the heck are they gonna have room, especially once they start popping out three will shells too.
Hubby says We should open part way through hatch to take out shells. I keep telling myself were not going to open the door.

I have the same questions! My hatch is starting today and not sure what to do. How did yours turn out?
