Hi, I am new and need help with a Brinsea Humidity Pump. Sounds like it is running but humidity level has not reached over 42%.
I read questions and answers in the forum and have tried everything suggested. Question.. is the top round piece in the center the tubing is wrapped around tightly suppose to rotate or move? This is my first hatch and I am so afraid I will loose them.

Hello and welcome to BYC [IMG] I'm sorry, I'm not familiar with that incubator model, but I'm sure someone will be along soon that can help you. In the meantime, soak a sponge in warm water and put it in your 'bator. It'll up the humidity a bit. Good luck!

:frow & :welcome from Alabama. Glad you joined us. I've never used one of the humidity pumps, either. Definitely try putting a wet sponge in, it always makes the humidity in my incubators jump right up. Have you tried calling Brinsea's customer service? They're usually really good about helping you out if you need it. Good luck :thumbsup

    welcome to the forum

is the tube wraped in the direction of the picture, allso teh tube needs to be 140mm for perfect tension

another thing to look at is the tube make sure its not pressed and stuck to itself rub with finger to seperate it

also the hard plastic tube must be touching the humidity pad

let the pump run and watch, does the water move along the tube

Water is in tube but I do not have tube touching pad. Will give that a try. Thanks so much
