Hi
Im expecting to get this incubator anyday now. A question for someone who may have it. Ive seen in the pics online.. Eggs set in the trays are shown to be both laying down and standing up in the normal incubator positition standing up. Which way is correct for this unit?

I beg to differ, the Brinsea Mini Advance takes eggs laid on thir sides. That's the only way it will hold them, it actually rolls eggs as the turner base rotates.

In the larger Brinsea models, eggs CAN be set either standing up - pointy end down, yes of course - or on their sides. Most folks incubate as many eggs as they can at a time, so standing the eggs up gives you more room for more eggs than laying them on their sides.
