Brinsea octo 40 Eco humidity Qs

So I just got a wonderful octo 40 Eco. The temp is going smooth but the humidity is going past 50. I've filled up all 4 water reservoirs. What should I do to get that extra 10 points?

Are you looking to go higher on the humidity? If so you will want to increase the wet surface area by adding a sponge, a wick (evaporating pad), or something of that nature to soak up more water. I personally use a cheap dollar store shammy. It holds a lot of water and keeps pulling the water. Good Luck

I placed 2 wet folded up paper towels in there and it went to 54, think that will work or should I get something else?

That will probably work. I would give it a bit a time see where it will go. I have hatched chicks on several occasions at 55% humidity.
