Today my 6 month old plolish rooster attacked my 5 month old Silkie mix…. I went out to check on the chickens and he was on top of her pinning her down and pecking her at her face. I kicked the rooster off and now have him separated in a kennel from the rest of my flock……. I’ve been trying to rehome him, he’s just way too big for my flock

Her eye is so swollen and beak looks broken/shifted - she looks horrible….. she still wants to eat and drink but definitely very docile at the moment (she usually never lets you pick her up) do I put her down?

Could this have happened because my other silkie and Polish hen just started laying??? They’ve all been together for over 3 months with no issues at all. My heart is absolutely broken right now :(

It looks like a sinus infection. Is a vet an option?
I actually work at a vet clinic but she doesn’t specialize in chickens. Only large animal vet and small animal vet :(

She said I could do some research and if I needed anything she can order it in for me.

Only downfall is with labour day weekend we’re not back in office until Tuesday

Yea I actually have injectable baytril at my house right now that I got for using on my past rabbit
Should I do baytril tablets or injection. I have tobramycin drops I’ve been using. Didn’t want to use an antibiotic and steroid incase the eye got scratched and ulcerated
