broken chicken toe

last night a opossum got in our chicken coup and tried grabbing one of our chickens. we were looking at her this morning to see if there were any bad injuries and she was fine all besides her big toe was all crooked and she wont put pressure on it when shes idle, any suggestions on what to do to help her?

Agreeing with @cherrynberry that pics would be great! If you feel along her toe, is there a specific spot where she will flinch when you touch it? Can you feel any broken bits? Can she walk? Is she eating? Drinking? @Eggcessive @Wyorp Rock @azygous or @HeatherKellyB could probably help you out.

Is the toe swollen? Look closely at it. Do you see any discoloration?

She may be in shock, if only minimally. It wouldn't hurt to treat her for it to be safe. Warm Gatoraid or an electrolyte mixture with sugar. You can make your own with sugar water and a tiny bit of salt and baking soda. Do this each hour for the rest of tonight.
