yesterday I found an egg that was still warm with a hole in the pointy end where the air bubble is. the membrane was still intact. I brought it in and rinsed it and put it in the fridge. Is it safe to eat? there was absolutely no poop whatsoever anywhere on it.

When I get those, I eat them THE NEXT DAY. But only if the membrane is intact, and I refrigerate them right away.

great, thanks, it's been in the fridge less than 24 hours so I'm assuming it will be fine.
