One of my lovely roosters is not so lovely any more. He is a Japanese Bantam and always has a big black tail held high up over his back like a squirrel.
But now its sideways and droopy and looks terrible! What happened???? We have had lots of rain and I just thought it got waterlogged and heavy. But now its dried out its still the same. All my other roosters tails are fine. Can they break their tails? All the feathers seem fine and are not bent.
Here is a pic of him before it happened. Now the tail is dragging on the ground. He is not sick or anything and still crowing and mounting the hens.
