Broken toe on a hen

There is not much you can do about the toe. It will eventually drop off. I had a hen that pretty much lost all her toes. I suspected chicken osteoporosis. Chicken lived just fine, and was able to walk also. I named her Cotton. (after King of the Hill,,,, Hanks dad)

That is more then just a broken toe. What happened? Why is the tissue necrotic? I would 100% take them to a vet who sees chickens. Here is a link to a comprehensive directory. The poor little bird! :(
It got caught in a rat traps that was set because the rats we're eating the chicken food I thought the chickens couldn't get to the trap I have been trying to treat it but it just keeps getting worse
