[IMG][/IMG] New guy here. Just wanted to say this site is great so much info. This is my meat chicken and turkey project with my 8 year old daughter. We thought we would try chickens to keep our budget small. Hopefully we get along with them ok she wants to do 4h and hogs are out of budget this year(that's what I raised in 4h but it is a different day and age with grain so high).

Well enough of that on with brooder box project went to lowes and spent 70 dollars on supply's . Made the box 3'x6' 2' high sides 1' legs. Took a 1"x6" piece and put in corners so there is no corner ( livestock can be a pain if there are corners). The boards you see in the middle are for lamp adjustment still have to finish that part and paint the whole thing.

The next project will be a hoop tractor 8'x16' plenty of tractor to pull it around the yard not worried about weight.
