Has anyone ever used the Brinsea Eco Glow chic brooder heater? My cabin is off the grid and we supply power via a battery bank and generator. I'm worried that a high wattage heat lamp will suck up our battery life pretty quickly, especially running it 24/7 for a few weeks. This heater is supposed to be low wattage and great for keeping small chicks warm...they even sleep under it. It's also less likely to overheat the brooder compared to a traditional heat lamp. Any thoughts? Thanks!
