How warm does a brooder need to be?
95F The first week. Then start lowering the temp a little per week.
Start at 95 degrees F, and reduce by 5 degrees every week until they are fully feathered out (usually between 6-8 weeks). If you use a Brinsea EcoGlow Chick Brooder, you can "set it and forget it." It uses radiant heat and is much safer and more economical. See Brinsea posts.
