Is this Normal Rooster behavior? I have 3 broodies in the coop right now and to the best of my knowlegde at least one of the girls (Bettys) eggs to hatch on the 11th however it could be sooner because Im just going by the first day I noticed she was broody. Zues the Rooster is hanging out over the top of her constantly. I tried to get him to come out for some treats and nothing doing. He flat out refuses to leave her, Will he hurt the chicks?? He is a sweetie but Ive never had a broody go all the way before and not sure what to expect.??
