I'm getting Cornish rock hens and some layers tomorrow. They will all be the same age and will be coming from the same hatchery. Can I brood them together until the Cornish rock hens feather and are ready to move to their coop?

No Problem. I keep a lot of different breeds together. The cornish rock will grow a lot faster but I can't see any problem at first.

That's my plan with layers and Pioneer meat birds.

Great thanks! I couldn't think of any reasons it wouldn't work either other than the rock hens obsession with food but they won't be in the brooder long.
