We have a hen who was a great broody. She sat faithfully on her nest of about ten eggs. Two hatched, but the chicks died before getting out of the shell. After that, she abandoned the rest of the eggs. We moved them to a brooder as soon as we realized what had happened, but the eggs were cool by then. What are the odds of the rest of the eggs hatching? Or are they a lost cause?
No I don't think so. They need the humidity and heat of a bator. How old are the eggs? (How far along are they?)
