Broody Brenda Has Blood on her Face

Hi Everyone,
Broody Brenda is kept in a separate pen. She looked fine this morning. In the afternoon, she had a bloodied face.
Who knows what the cause could have been. I’m thinking/hoping that Broody Brenda had an altercation with a rodent? A snake? Something? I don’t see any traces of blood or animal.

thoughts? Do broody hens get injured by their own volition?

It could have been a rodent, they looks like cuts rather than pecks, put some antibiotic ointment on the cuts if you want

Is there a raw edge to HC somewhere? Maybe where a rodent entered?
