One of my female buttons has gone broody. Last time she stopped after five days, and there was no development, but this time, it's day four and there is definite development.

Is there any way to encourage her broodiness to continue? Now the eggs are developing, I'd rather her finish the whole process than have me pull out my incubator set up.

Kinda late now to do anything beyond leaving her alone as much as possible. In the future you could decorate her cage up with branches and the like so she feels like she has some cover but not much more you can do.

Okay, thank you. I didn't expect her to go broody in the middle of winter, is all. I need to find time to go to the craft store so I can put some in her cage after she's done.
