Our little silkie bantam Goldie is broody and sounds like a parrot or exotic jungle bird. I have never had a hen make this sound!
My husband believes she not really broody....she just won't come out because she HATES her hairdo
. I keep her topknot trimmed because she free-ranges during the day with her sisters and our roo Drumstick. Safer to see!
