Has anyone ever let their chicken hatch your duck eggs? I have a broody mama or three and I thought it would be fun to let them raise ducklings instead...

All three of them are bantam chickens. A silkie, a silver seabright and a frizzled cochin.

yes, I have let my bantam cochins hatch out ducklings. It works great! Mine have hatched out turkeys for me as well. Only problem is...the "momma's" are so small, and can only handle maybe 2 or 3 eggs. [IMG]
