This one is pipping at the wrong end. Do I do anything or just leave it?

I think 7 have now pipped and I hear some peeping. I’m sure they will hatch tomorrow afternoon after I leave.

Baby made its own external pip ? If so that’s a good sign
This will be a longer hatch and msg need assistance later on
But please remember this is a combo of internal and external so wait will be 48 hours or more before it hatches
Mine took over 50 hours
After 24 hours you can see how it’s doing
When I get home I’ll give more info

Thank you. I will not touch and see how it goes. Ugh - so stressful.

I know they can be but just know many wrong end babies hatch just fine
My girl is 4.5 months old and perfectly healthy and strong :)
Because baby made its own pip it may hatch all on its own
Mine was a full assist as it never made external just bruised the egg but I made a tiny safety hole and left it be 24 hours. Then found a second bruise and made a hole for the beak. Then more wait and wait
Because yours made its hole it should be just fine
In 24 -36 hours you may see a second hole or cracks and that would be ideal

It seems like it is making progress so I’m hopeful. While I was I obsessively watching the eggs I saw another one that was pipping a little bit always from the air pocket and it was on the bottom so I had to adjust that one because it just did not seem like a good egg placement.

As of now 9 of 14 have pipped. I set up the security camera so I can watch them after I leave. Husband is ready to take over Jurassic park and the brooder is ready. He is not prepared to do any assisting so the little groots need to make it on their own.

Whew.
