I have a black frizzle hen that I think has gone broody. She is always in her hutch. I thought that she was having hard times this past week laying. This morning she was doing it again but she really was sitting on a EE egg that someone laid in her house. She comes out to eat and then is right back at it. What should I do. Also I do not have a roo. Rene'
Well, I would just keep taking the eggs from her. Move her around put her on the other side of the run if you can. Or block off that spot till she is over it. Good luck. A broody can be a pain..... literally!!
Oh dear. Keep taking the eggs, and if you have a brooder or seperate place for her with no materials to make a nest, put here there.
