My silly guinea hen has made her nest in the middle of the guinea pen and its almost time for eggs to hatch.. I have revised the nursery, where momma chicken who recently hatched 2 guinea eggs about 5 weeks ago has been staying. Now, Momma chicken and Keets can hang out on lower and outside levels of the nursery. This leaves the upper level available for new guinea mom.. Problem and question is????? Do I take the momma to be guinea and her eggs and put them in the nursery now??? Or do I wait for eggs to hatch.. I am worried about the 3 other guineas in the pen with her right now ( one is her mate). Will they attack the babies?? They dont seem thrilled about the guinea babies next door, but those babies are raised by the chicken & they think they are chickens too. What a situation this is.. Any advise will surely be appreciated.
