I have a guinea that’s been sitting on a nest. I candled the eggs beneath her and it appears that they are extremely close to hatch, maybe 2-4 days. Yesterday and today she has been getting off the nest more frequently and longer periods of time. Is that normal close to hatch? I’ve always heard they don’t move at all close to hatch time. Should I move them to an incubator? These are my first birds and I’ve never had a broody before so I’m a little concerned she’s letting the eggs cool down too much.
