Hello,
I wasn’t sure if I post this in the incubator form or behaviour/egg laying form.
I have a hen that has been broody for a few weeks. She has sat tight on the nest so I gave her some fertilized eggs.
Now, the last 2 days one of my Muscovy hens has decided to join her, cramping both of them in the next box haha.
I love when my chicken hens coparent!
Both ladies seemed totally fine with the situation, however I’m a bit worried if there are any issues with allowing this or should I separate them? Maybe get some fertile duck eggs for my duck hen and put her there?
They won’t have access to open or deep water where chicks could drown, but again, not sure if this will cause issues.
Any advice would be appreciated.
