    Hello Everyone,
One of the silkie hens I bought a while back has finally gone broody. I was told she would go broody then get off the nest. I was wondering if maybe I should take the chance and let her sit. I was wondering if I should let her sit in the coop, bring her inside in a cage to sit or pull the eggs from her. Any ideas?

If they are shipped or expensive eggs I wouldn't risk it but if they are just barnyard mix or something like that then I would wait it out and see. She may have just not got a full dose of hormones yet when the previous owner had her.

Thank you. The egg she is sitting on were laid by her and my other two silkies in the coop. They are 100% silkie eggs.
