I have 2 6 month old buff orpington x sussex and one of them for the last week has gone broody. She is very sweet natured and has not been agressive towards me. We have recently extended our run and therefore want to introduce 2 more hens. Is this a bad time or doesn't it really matter? I'm going to get 2 pol hybrids to go in with them. Any opinions welcome.

This is the 2 of them together. The one on the right is the broody one.

I'd go ahead and do it now, I don't see why not.
