Hi all.
I have a broody speckledy who has been sitting on eggs for a week, and has developed a scratched and bleeding comb. Is she dehydrated? Could it be anything else? Her comb is still red. This is the second time she's been broody this season; last time she successfully hatched and raised 4 ducks - 4-week incubation period, and she did fine, so she's obviously not clueless. Has she just tried to do too much? I've put water right next to her and sprinkle some over her. What else should I do?
Thanks,
Amanda
