Hi Guys,
I have a question, I have noticed that my Black Copper Maran has gone broody and is sitting on a clutch of eggs. This is our first time letting a Broody Hen hatch eggs and we are not quit sure what to do. Should we let her sit on the eggs in the coop and raise them with the flock or move her to her own separate space? She is being a good momma so far, but she made a nest behind a hay bale and the duck also lays her eggs there I do believe she is sitting on a few duck eggs and i am not sure what to do about that and if should let her hatch them if she even will. We have 13 chickens and 2 ducks and a big not so friendly rooster. Not sure if that information will help but I do need help.
Thankyou

You will need to mark the eggs so you can remove any added. I would remove the duck eggs as their incubation time is a week longer than the chickens.
