Hi,
This is our first time hatching eggs, my hen and I, she has been sitting on eggs for 10 days now, It is supposed to be 103 this weekend. How hot is too hot? Should we move her inside? I have no good place inside to move her to, we will have to work something up with a kiddie pool and dog kennel if we do.

Thanks

I'm no expert on broodies, but since no one else has replied yet, I would say to give her some shade, and some water that she can reach. Maybe even throw in an ice cube. They have a way of regulating their body temp. She wont let the eggs get that hot. But at this stage, you don't want her to leave the nest because she is too hot. Even a fan to circulate some air for her might help. Good luck!
