Broody hen w/crusty eye

I have been checking her everyday for the past 3 weeks and the last couple days she hasn't let me get a good look at her. This morning she was turned around in the nest and I got a good look at her eye. It is dry, crusty and poofy. What could cause this and what can I do to help her? She is in my garage, not sneezing but I did notice her comb and face is slightly paler than normal.

Sounds like a sinus infection...i'd rub tree oil on her every other day and maybe some tetracycline in her water for 10 days or so...good luck.
