broody hen with chicks

My broody hen just hatched out two chicks in our coop. Help! What do I need to do. She currently has them in a nesting box about a foot off the ground.

How long ago did they hatch? They don't need food or water until 24 house after hatching. When it is time to feed them, give them chick starter. If all the eggs are hatched then you can move her to the floor or into a pen or were ever you plan to put her. If the other eggs have not finished hatching, then just leave her were she is but put something up to make sure the chicks don't fall out of the nest box. Once you have got them out the nest, if you supply them with food and water, mama will do the rest!
