Broody Hen

So this girl one of my 2 GLW I believe she has gone broody. I have separated her during the day in the run and will borrow a dog kennel from a neighbor tomorrow to hold her in. My question is do I leave her in there 24 hours a day for 3 days to break this?

That girl is a Gold Laced Wyandotte.
Is the crate wire? It needs to be a wire crate, elevated off the ground so she cannot nest. The goal is to cool her belly.
I leave my broodies in for three days and two nights and let them out about 1 hour before roost on the third day. If she is roosted when I do lock up and head count, she's done. If I find her back in a nest box, she goes back into the crate for the night and another day and I try again the next night.

I used @aart's advice but since I didn't have room in my coop for the cage, made this Outdoor Broody Breaker instead my electric netting:
