Broody Hen

My hen has become broody and is currently sat in a box in the kitchen on a fertile egg, we give it fresh water and layers pellets mixed with corn to help with the energy levels and egg laying, she was limp and i'll before this but it just turned out she was broody and was sat on a fertile egg

Make sure that she leaves the nest at least once daily to defecate. At times if feed and water is kept adjacent to the nest, a hen will eventually defecate in the nest potentially ruining the eggs.
