Does anyon have any suggestions on how to stop my BO hen from being broody? She's been broody for almost a month now.
We take her out of the nesting box every day 2-3 times, but she goes back in as soon as she can. She is stoping the other girls from laying in the boxes sometimes, too.
Any help is very appreciated, I
would just like to see her be a happy hen again!
Thanks!

Most folks use a wire cage and put the hen inside and suspend the cage from the ceiling of the hen house.

The theory is that the cool air on her bottom will break her. I do the same thing by putting the hen in a 16X4 foot by 8 foot tall pen with a love sick rooster. The rooster will keep her sitting on the roost pole so much that the effect is the same. I think that it is quicker and easier on the hen.
