I was able to separate my two broody hens long enough for them to hatch 2 of three eggs! The third started to hatch but did not survive, I don’t know why It the best pictures but the Easter eggers hatch two silkies. Lol. No when can I move them to the floor in a new box. I’m not sure the moms will want to leave their current boxes

I have older chicks in my home at least maybe two weeks. They just got tail feathers. I originally got them for the. Hens then was pleasantly surprised with silkie eggs. Would the. Hens accept them? Would chicks hurt new silkies?
yes! I can’t stop checking on them

The hens probably won’t accept, but try anyway in case they do.
The bigger one might pick on the smaller, so watch them.
