Me too pittmanbirds! I'm just restarting my flock after several years out due to health issues. I'm going to get buffs, barred rocks, australorp, welsummer and ee's. I want a chicken that is a good dual purpose, goes broody, hardy in heat and cold, and a colorful basket. Not much to ask lol. Somewhere in these breeds are the genes for what I want, just gotta find it lol.
