Broody mom who wants to stay broody even with babies....

I have one duck sitting on eighteen eggs....and my new mom whose babies just hatched last night and this morning took her babies into the duck house and introduced her to the other mom who is still sitting and is trying to take over the nest!!!!!! Should I take the babies and then take some of the eggs and put them back in the old nest that the ones just hatched from? Or leave well enough alone??
