since the introduction of a drake last month, he's been busy with my 3 girlies (although to my knowledge they've never laid an egg! they are around 24-28weeks)

anyhow for the past 2 days two girls have been missing, i presumed eaten by a fox (although they are in a high fence enclosure at the side of my smaller stables)

anyhow today i was in the stables (these ones are used for storage not animals) and heard a little noise under the mazout/petrol tanks, after pulling out loads of junk i found one lady under each tank, sitting on nests made out of old cardboard/paper/insulation/polystyrene etc.

i dont know if they are sitting on eggs but they wont let me near them!

is it possible for girls so young to have become broody without ever laying an egg before??

it seems they have got in the stables through the smallest hole ever (that the drake could never get through!) will they be ok in there? should i put food/water in there or will they go out when they want to eat?
how long, if they do have eggs, should it be before i see babies?
