Broody or sick?

I have one hen that for the last week or so that just stays in the coop sitiing on all the eggs. She is very fussy if you try t move her. She doesn't seem sick in any obvious way other than she has become anti-social and does not run around with the gang anymore. I'm wondering if this is normal or should I be worried that it could be some kind of illness? Thanks to anyone with some insight.

Sounds like a BROODY positive to me! I have one who should experience the joy of hatch on Friday. Broody hens are very protective of their nest of eggs. Here's a link to I love that taught me what I know about broodiness:
