broody question

    if a hen is broody and none of her eggs hatch or survive will she go back to normal? We had to hatch that didnt survive neither full made it out of the egg before they died

    Aww, sorry, some will keep sitting for up to about two months before becoming unbroody. Otherwise relocating her or blocking her nest can help break her.

    Thanks but it was a interesting experiment. She has four that have yet to hatch we shall see if they make it or not.

    I saw several videos of people using bantam hens and they did great but this was also her first time ever and she not a bantam.

    Oh and she not a bantam lol she full size i surprise she lasted this long in a way considering what people have told me

    Most broodies will sit on anything, even nothing. I wonder if she was able to turn the correctly.
