Broody raising ducklings.

So. Recently I just lost 2 of my 4 ducks and I want to get two more ducklings to replace them, and I realized I have had a broody hen in the layer flock for almost a month now, she is an Easter egger and has never shown any aggression towards me when I gather the eggs under her, so I am thinking about buying 2 ducklings and putting them under her in a separate cage and when they reach 6 weeks combining them with the duck flock, any input or advice appreciated!

I haven't done this myself, but I know of a few people who had broody hens raise ducklings for them. I'd say give it a shot and see how it goes, but be prepared to remove the peepers if she rejects them!

If she doesn't take the ducklings, should break her broody another way.
A month is long time to set, she may be losing condition.
